‘Wake this Land’ engages directly with our relationship to place through material,
inviting an imaginative and tactile response. Across various perspectives and disciplines,
from clay to wood, metal and textiles, the artists experimental investigations
explore new and evolving notions of the land that surrounds us.
Each with a unique visual language, the works on view reflect the entanglement
of nature and the human, leaving both traces and echoes of land use and lives lived.

Launching this September, Beyond Horizons is a new sculpture exhibition
at Stoberry Park Garden, near Wells, where contemporary sculpture
will be placed within one of Somerset’s most beautiful garden settings.
Designed to celebrate the connection between art, landscape and visitors’ experience,
the exhibition will feature selected works shown throughout the garden,
creating a journey of discovery through planting, space and light.
