The ceramic lamp bases are inspired by the work of French New Wave potters from the 1960's. They played with, and expanded the use of ceramics for interiors - making tables, lamps, wall sconces, that blurred the boundaries between the sculptural and functional.
My lamp bases are made as one-off wheel thrown works that explore different forms, with evolving designs, materials and glazes. I make collections for interior and design shops as well as undertaking private commissions.
